ZEBI-LION Raised in the spice of the Caribbean, Grenada, Eleseus “Zebi Lion” St. Bernard was a reggae music enthusiast from the age of ten. At this early age, Zebi listening to renditions from legendary artists such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jacob Miller and other reggae pioneers, Zebi Lion got great inspiration from these renditions. However, his drive and determination has led him from a tender age being a part of school choirs and a member of the House of Israel. His blessings from the House of Israel has nutured him with a Jah given talent to write, sing and perform. Being a popular performer in his home land with regular stagings with some of Jamaica’s top reggae artistes, Zebi Lion has naturally awaken the spirits of fans and uplifts the hearts of Jamaican artistes who saw his talent present at Grenada’s stage shows. His recognition, hence, influenced Jamaican artistes who saw his talent and was astonished by it, to give him a welcome invitation to the birthplace of Reggae Music to pursue his musical career as a reggae artiste. Being in Jamaica since 2004 pursuing his career as a recording artiste doing production with Togetherness Records, Pruney and Blacka Peark, Zebi has gotten two major releases namely “Fire Ago Bun Dem” and Granny a Cry” on the Togetherness Records Label. Zebi Lion has participated in local community shows and has made a number of performances in Jamaica, on major shows such as Rebel Salute”, “Anthony B Birthday Bash” and “Macka Diamond’s Birthday Bash” in 2007. -2- Currently Zebi Lion just completed his album, soon to be released on the Andrew Bassie Production. Zebi Lion is a member of the Andrew Bassie All Stars band as the performing Artiste.
